Gamespot reports that console beta testing dates have been announced for Metal Gear Survive on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The Metal Gear Solid V spin-off will have beta tests on January 18-21 on both consoles. Details about a PC beta test haven’t been revealed, but the game will get a PC release. Konami claims the testing will give users the chance “to jump into co-op mode to build, defend, and fight alongside friends online.” It’s unknown what else will be included.

If you participate in the beta, you’ll get a FOXHOUND name plate, a Metal Gear REX head accessory and a bandanna for the actual game. It’s unknown if there will be any way to unlock these without the beta testing or if they’ll be on the PC version.

Konami has released a new trailer for the game which looks at the single-player campaign and the Base Camp in single-player and co-op. The game will arrive on February 20. It’s the first Metal Gear game after the departure of Hideo Kojima from Konami.
