After a successful simulcast last fall, Critical Role is returning to theaters for their seventh anniversary show. Critical Role announced today that they will celebrate their seventh anniversary on March 17th with a simulcast of their Twitch & YouTube livestream in 55 theaters nationwide and three international screenings in Brazil in partnership with Cinemark.
The livestreamed D&D series will be airing episode 17 of their third campaign as the simulcast episode. Screenings will be held in select cities in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virgina, and Washington, with Cinemark LATAM holding screenings in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. You can pre-order tickets here.
“Following the massive response from our third campaign’s theatrical premiere, we knew we wanted to bring our show back to the big screen where people can gather safely and enjoy the experience collectively,” said Travis Willingham, Critical Role’s CEO. “We’re working with some incredible theatrical partners to help celebrate our seven-year anniversary, which is still mind-boggling to say!”
