The wait is nearly over. CD Projekt RED dropped the launch trailer today for Cyberpunk 2077. The highly anticipated game is finally due out this week. It was first announced by CDPR almost eight years ago in January 2013. You can check out the new launch trailer below.

Additionally, CDPR issued a statement today in response to warnings for people with epilepsy that was first released by Game Informer. The statement noted, “Thank you for bringing this up. We’re working on adding a separate warning in the game, aside from the one that exists in the EULA. Regarding a more permanent solution, Dev team is currently exploring that and will be implementing it as soon as possible.”

The game is based on Mike Pondsmith’s tabletop game series, Cyberpunk, and also features Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand. The new trailer showcases the dangers players will face in the game in the role of V, the game’s protagonist, as they begin their adventure in the sprawling megalopolis, Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077 hits the shelves on December 10 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Stadia. Additionally, the game will also be playable on Xbox Series XS and PlayStation 5 consoles. The plan is for CDPR to release a free upgrade to take full advantage of the next-gen hardware at a later date. It will be available to owners of Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 versions respectively.
