PAX West and PAX Unplugged have official dates and locations. Penny Arcade has announced the times and places of the gaming and tabletop conventions, with PAX West taking place in Seattle from August 30th through September 2nd while Unplugged runs from December 6th through 8th in Philadelphia.

PAX Unplugged badges and pre-sale merchandise will go on sale on May 8th, with PAX West badges available later this month.

PAX West is a four-day convention celebrating gaming and is the most-attended gaming event on the West Coast. The convention will give attendees the chance to see a host of gaming studios of all sizes showcasing their new and upcoming titles, including some that will be playable for the first time. The convention includes the PAX Arena, which will host competitions featuring esports stars as well as YouTube, Twitch and Mixer stars in a stream Stars tournament. There will also be the usual autograph sessions, panels and other attractions.

PAX Unplugged is the PAX for tabletop lovers, which will host some of the biggest names in board, card, and pen-and-paper gaming. This year’s Unplugged will be the fiftieth show in PAX history and the third iteration of the tabletop convention.

“When we came up with all this, I don’t think we could ever have imagined putting on 50 of these events and counting,” said Jerry Holkins, co-founder, PAX and Penny Arcade. “We can’t wait to welcome the gaming community to our home in Seattle this summer, and to our Winter Lair in Philadelphia this December. We hope you’ll be able to join us.”
