A new D&D setting and storyline are set to be revealed next month during a modified version of the yearly D&D Live event, with WWE stars and more set to appear. Wizards of the Coast announced late last week that D&D Live will run from June 18th through June 20 and will be a virtual event, during which the latest storyline will be revealed. The event will benefit Red Nose Day, which is helping children affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.

The announcement notes that the announcement will allow fans to “learn all about the new setting and storyline as well as accompanying new products.” The event will feature several live gaming sessions, including one featuring WWE stars Xavier Woods, Tyler Breeze, Ember Moon, Alexa Bliss, and Dio Maddin. The group, which has played a semi-regular D&D campaign on Wood’s UpUpDownDown, will play under D&D’s Principal Rules Designer Jeremy Crawford on June 20th.

There will be four other games during the event; one takes place on the 18th and sees Deborah Ann Woll “lead a group of actors in improvising a way to help people in a fantasy world not that different from ours.” She will run an adventure with Angel alumna Amy Acker, True Blood and The L Word’s Janina Gavankar, Matthew Lillard, and Veep’s Sam Richardson. Meanwhile, on June 19th D&D lead writer Chris Perkins will run a game with Felicia Day, Brett Gelman, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Martin Starr on the 19th as a Red Nose Day game to raise money for charity.

Also taking place on the 19th is “Comedians Play D&D” featuring Thomas Middleditch, Brian Posehn, and Kevin Sussman. Finally, in addition to the WWE D&D game, June 20th will feature Perkins running a game featuring Stranger Things’ David Harbour and Legends of Tomorrow’s Brandon Routh.
