A new D&D product is on the way that will feature writing from Daredevil star Deborah Ann Woll and Critical Role’s Marisha Ray. Wizards of the Coast’s Kate Welch revealed on the return episode of Spoilers and Swag on Friday that the new book will release next year and feature work from both Woll and Ray.

Not much was revealed about the book itself although Welch, who is heading up the project, noted that both Woll and Ray had written adventures for the book and that it contains several adventures. Welch said both have already written their adventures and despite not having a formal adventure before, both “destroyed it” when it came to their submissions. She also said that she had brought in several new writers who have not had adventures published by Dungeons & Dragons before, but that you’ve “probably heard of and love if you’re a big DMs Guild fan or anything like that.”

While not being WotC-published D&D authors before, Woll and Ray are both of course extremely familiar with the product. Woll is a lifelong D&D fan and runs a game on her own show, Relics & Rarities, through Geek & Sundry. Ray, meanwhile, is the Creative Director for Critical Role (and before that filled the same role at Geek & Sundry). She has been a core cast member for both Critical Role campaigns and is known outside of the RPG community for her voice acting work in games like Persona 4.

No release date beyond 2020 was noted for the new product.
