Coming Soon reports that Nintendo has announced pricing details for their upcoming Nintendo Switch Online service. It will be available for compatible Switch games and launches in September. Here are the membership prices:

One month: $3.99
Three months: $7.99
12 months: $19.99
Family membership (12 months): $34.99

A family membership includes up to eight Nintendo Account holders who can use the service, even on different systems. Subscribers will also get NES – Nintendo Switch Online, a compilation of classic NES games. It will include twenty games at first, with more added later, including Balloon Fight, Dr. Mario, Super Mario Bros. 3, Donkey Kong, Ice Climber, The Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros., Soccer, Super Mario Bros. and Tennis. The games can be played online through competitive or co-op multiplayer, or simply by players taking turns. Friends can watch each other play and “pass the controller” whenever they choose. The games will also support voice chat through the smartphone app. The games can be played offline as well.

Nintendo Switch users will also be able to back up their save data online, similar to Sony’s Playstation Plus.

An Online membership will be required for co-op or competitive online features for games like Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, ARMS, Mario Tennis Aces and Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido. The smartphone app, meanwhile, can be used for voice chat and other features.
