ELEAGUE Announces Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Tournament For January

ELEAGUE has announced an invitational Counter-Strike: Global Offensive that will feature four top teams in the game’s pro scene. The organization announced that the tournament will take place from January 25th though the 27th with Cloud9, FaZe Clan, BIG and compLexity alll participating, with a $150,000 prize pool.

The event will be a double-elimination tournament and will take place in Atlanta. Fans will be able to attend the event at the ELEAGUE Arena for free, and the tournam ent will stream on ELEAGUE’s Twitch channel.

The event will also feature some big-name talent casting, with Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez hosting, Jason “Moses” O’Toole & Sean Gares doing analysis, James Bardolph & Daniel “DDK” Kapadia casters and Sue “Smix” Lee reporting and doing interviews.

ELEAGUE hosted two big CS:GO events last year: the Boston Major in January and Premier 2018 in July. Cloud9 and Astralis won those respective tournaments. ELEAGUE also hosted Street Fighter V, Tekken 7 and Rocket League last year.
