Final Fantasy 15 to Get PC Release in 2018

Square Enix and Nvidia have announced that Final Fantasy 15 will be released on PC in early next year. The announcement was made at Nvidia’s Gamescom press presentation and included a reveal trailer, which you can check out below. The game, the latest in the long-running and popular RPG franchise, originally hit consoles in November 2016.

The PC version of the game will include all of the content from the console versions and free updates. Nvidia highlighted the following visual upgrades for the PC port:

* 4K high-resolution textures
* Dolby Atmos
* Realistic grass simulation
* Advanced hair simulation
* Combustible fire, smoke and fluid simulation
* Advanced shadow algorithms
* High quality ambient occlusion
* Versatile screenshot captures
* First-person camera mode

A specific release window was not mentioned beyond “early 2018.”
