FTR Was Reportedly Removed From AEW Fight Forever

A top tag team won’t be in AEW Fight Forever, namely FTR, according to a new report. Fightful Select reports that Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are not currently set to be included in the console game despite being originally slated for it. The report notes that the two made it to the character modelling phase of the game but were removed sometime after.
The report notes that FTR were informed of the decision and were displeased about it, since being in games often mean a significant bonus. The game is currently aiming for a 2022 release, and there’s no word on whether they may end up becoming DLC later.
More footage from the game was revealed last week at Gamescom 2022.
