Kingdom Hearts III: Toy Story Trailer and Release Period Revealed at D23 Expo

During today’s D23 Expo 2017 in Anaheim, California, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media revealed some new details about the upcoming, highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts III, which will finally be released in 2018. Game director Tetsuya Nomura was in attendance at today’s gaming panel to reveal the new details.

First, a new gameplay trailer was revealed showcasing a Toy Story world in the game, where Sora, Goofy, and Donald are transported to the world where they are toys in Andy’s room, and they meet Woody and Buzz Lightyear of Pixar’s Toy Story. Another gameplay trailer was also revealed during the panel showcasing some new gameplay footage of Sora’s moves in the game. The footage shows Sora in the fan-favorite Olympus area, where Sora will do battle with the Heartless alongside Disney’s Hercules. Nomura, Disney and Square Enix also revealed that Kingdom Hearts III will arrive later next year. It’s final release date has not yet been revealed. The game is currently in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
