Wizards of the Coast is bringing some of the Forgotten Realms’ lore to players with Laeral Silverhand’s Explorer’s Kit. Wizards is set to release the kit on March 17th, giving players a set of personal accessories including a set of dice, a dice tray and a map of the Sword Coast and the city of Waterdeep.

The kit also includes 20 illustrated, double-sided cards featuring information on several iconic characters, locations and role from the default 5E D&D setting such as Drizzt Do’Urden, Grand Duke Ulder Ravengard of Baldur’s Gate, the drow mercenary Jarlaxle Baenre, the cities of Waterdeep and Baldur’s Gate, and factions like the Harpers and Zhentarim. The cards are described as “detailing Laeral’s expert insights” on their subjects. While these may be less useful for lore experts, newer players could get a nice grounding in Faerunian lore from them.

The kit will release on the same day as the Critical Role campaign book the Explorer’s Guide to Wildmount, the first setting to be brought into the canon D&D fold since Eberron in 2004.
