Latest On Development Of AEW Video Game

A new report has an update the development of AEW’s console game. As we know, the company has been working on the game for a little while now, with Yuke’s as the developer. Tony Khan revealed earlier this month that they were recording crowd noise for the game at an upcoming taping of AEW Dark.

A new report by Fightful Select has a few small updates on the game, noting that the story mode is being worked on with some input from certain talent. Several of Yuke’s team that helped create the Smackdown vs. Raw games are involved in the story mode.

While there is no publisher announced, the site reports that we will get a lot more information when that happens, including a potential release date. The site also notes that they’ve heard from several wrestlers who haven’t been involved in the game thus far and aren’t sure if they will be included or involved. Others have had reference photos taken but have yet to do voiceover work.
