Kotaku reports that testing for the multiplayer expansion of Final Fantasy XV, called “Comrades”, begins next week. It has no release date but the “closed online test” runs from August 3-8 for those who have the season pass. Players will be able to create their own avatars, fight, cook and take part in quests. It will include weapons like kitanas, clubs and shurikens, as well as objects called meteorshards. The official statement says to “gather meteorshards during quests to expand the scope of available activities or to unlock new quests.”
