Eye of the Beholder: The Art of Dungeons & Dragons

The Dungeons & Dragons art-based documentary Eye of The Beholder arrives next week, and a new clip from the film is now online. The Nacelle Company has released a clip from the film (via io9), which you can check out below. The clip features Jeff Easley, one of the most renowned names among D&D artists, and some of his famous art pieces.

The film is directed by Kelley Slagle and Brian Stillman, and features over forty interviews with some of the biggest names in the D&D and fantasy illustration field such as Larry Elmore, Easley, Clyde Caldwell, Brom, Tony DiTerlizzi, Todd Lockwood, Erol Otus, Margaret Weiss and others. It was the result of a successful crowdfunding campaign that garnered $61,664, over twice the initial $25,000 goal, when it ran in February of 2018.

Eye of the Beholder: The Art of Dungeons & Dragons will be available on May 14th via iTunes, Google, Xbox, Vimeo, Amazon, Vudu, Comcast, Cox, Spectrum, and more.
