New Game Plus and Ultra Hard Difficulty Added To Horizon Zero Dawn

July 6, 2017 | Posted by Joseph Lee

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerrilla have announced an update for Horizon Zero Dawn that includes New Game+ and an Ultra Hard difficulty.

New Game+ will let players start a new game while keeping their character progression and items. There is still a level 50 cap but XP can be collected. Updated version of weapons and outfits with an extra modification slot were added but will cost quite a bit in the game. New face paint for Aloy and two new trophies were also added.

Ultra Hard will “enhance machine senses and behavior”, as well as limit health regeneration in the player, along with other small changes. Players who choose Ultra Hard can’t switch to a less difficult setting without starting the game over.

The latest DLC for the game will be The Frozen Wilds. It will include a new storyline, a new area and new machines. The game is available now on the PS4.
