Jumanji The Video Game

A new Jumanji video game is on the way, and it’s based on the most recent film starring The Rock. THR reports that Jumanji: The Video Game will be released on November 15th, a month before the release of Jumanji 3, and will feature the likenesses of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, and Kevin Hart.

The first trailer for the film is below. It will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. It is not clear at this time if the stars of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle will voice their roles in the movie.

The game is built on Unreal Engine 4 and, per the report, “players will control one of four explorers — Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Ruby Roundhouse, Franklin “Mouse” Finbar or Professor Shelly Oberon — as they search for the Jewels of Jumanji in a dangerous wilderness full of exotic creatures and nefarious marauders. Players can team up with up to three other gamers in either online or split-screen local co-op modes.” The game will also maintain the humor of the reboot.
