Microsoft is working on a new Xbox One and Xbox One X feature that will allow users to save storage space via usage of game data. Eurogamer reports that the feature, called Intelligent Delivery, will allow for game date to be sorted in a way that allows players to delete portions they don’t need, thus letting them free up hard drive space.

The possibilities for gamers are many with Intelligent Delivery. For example, Engadget points out that gamers could be able to delete all of the languages supported by a game like FIFA except for the one that they use. Xbox One users could clear out the 4K assets on games, as they wouldn’t be able to utilize those. Deleting single-player or multiplayer modes may be possible as well.

According to the report, Intelligent Delivery will support games on multiple discs as well, enabling a primary disc holding all the core data for games and more discs (currently two, but possibly more) with extra data that players could add in as needed.

There’s no word on when this feature may be introduced.
