Outriders Reveal Trailer Showcases Dark Sci-Fi Shooter Action

Square Enix and People Can Fly Games, the studio that worked on such titles as Bulletstorm and the Gears of War series, dropped the reveal trailer today for the upcoming co-op RPG shooter, Outriders. You can check out the new trailer in the player below. The game is in development for a Holiday 2020 release.

Outriders will be a 1-3 player co-op RPG shooter experience. It’s set in a new, dark sci-fi universe. Mankind embarks on a journey into the unknown on the planet called Enoch. Players create their own Outrider characters and have navigate a hostile planet. People Can Fly Games is promising a game that will have “rich storytelling spanning a diverse world.”

The official reveal stream for the game is scheduled for Thursday, February 13 at 12:00 pm PST/3:00 pm EST. 411mania has already gotten the chance to play the game, and people can expect more coverage on the upcoming title on February 13.

Outriders is currently in development for a holiday release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and and Windows PC via Steam. Here’s an official synopsis:

Outriders is a 1-3 player co-op RPG shooter set in an original, dark and desperate sci-fi universe. As mankind bleeds out in the trenches of Enoch, you’ll create your own Outrider and embark on a journey across the hostile planet. With rich storytelling spanning a diverse world, you’ll leave behind the slums and shanty towns of the First City and traverse forests, mountains and desert in the pursuit of a mysterious signal. Combining intense gunplay with violent powers and an arsenal of increasingly twisted weaponry and gear-sets, Outriders offers countless hours of gameplay from one of the finest shooter developers in the industry – People Can Fly.
