Sony announced on Wednesday that the next-generation console will launch on November 12th in the U.S., Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, with a launch in the rest of the world on November 19th. The highly-anticipated console will be available for an MSRP of $399.99 for the PS5 Digital Edition, and $499.99 for the PS5 with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive.

Pre-orders start tomorrow for the console at local retailers. The Digital Edition and the UHD/Blu-ray edition feature the same specs, with the exception of the drive.

The console will launch with several games available, including Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, Final Fantasy XVI, Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach, Hogwarts Legacy, a new God of War title, and the previously-announced Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, and Demon’s Souls.

The announcement also noted that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sackboy A Big Adventure, and Horizon Forbidden West will all launch with PlayStation 4 versions available to for people who cannot transition to the PS5 right away. The announcement notes:

While these three games were designed to take advantage of PS5 and its unique next-gen features like the ultra-high-speed SSD and DualSense controller, PS4 owners will also be able to enjoy these experiences when they launch. The PS4 digital versions of launch games include a free upgrade on both PS5 consoles, while the PS4 disc versions of these games include a free upgrade on the PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc drive.
