Welcome back to Eberron: Heirs of Destiny! I’m Jeremy Thomas, your DM and 411 site editor, bringing us back for another week of Dungeons and Dragons zaniness!

Picking back up, our group of heroes had found themselves in Shae Mordai, the spiritual seat of Aerenal which is the island home of the elven society that by and large follows the worship of the Undying Court. Having been transported there through a teleportation pool of sorts in a House Cannith facility, it was a surprise not only to the party but to the Aerenali as well since no one has been able to teleport into Shae Mordai for a very, very long time. The party was housed in an open space while the Court figured out exactly what to do.

The party did some shopping in Shae Mordai’s market, picking up some exotic items, before a member of the Undying Court named Olarue visited them and told them a great many details about how they may relate to the mysterious prophecy that had surrounded them as of late. Olarue revealed that each of them was descended from an individual who had been directly involved in the elimination millennia before of House Vol. Specifically, their descendants — including Olarue herself, who was Vaelin’s ancestor — had aided in defeating the head of the house, a powerful necromancer named Minara Vol. Olarue believed that this group being brought together was instrumental to Draconic Prophecy that could see the shadow of House Vol either rise anew, put down for good or even perhaps redeemed. Given time to discuss, the group decided that they wanted to return to the mainland of Khorvaire to seek their fates there…with the exception of Vaelin and Branma, who suggested that they may be staying behind.
