Square Enix has pulled its JRPG The Last Remnant from Steam and announced a Playstation 4 remastered version. The company pulled the game from Steam last week and discontinued physical sales as well, before making the announcement of the new version on Wednesday.

The game was originally released on Xbox 360 in 2008 and is a turn-based RPG set in a world filled with magical, power-granting artifacts known as Remnants. The game casts players in the role of Rush Sykes, a young man who embarks on a quest to rescue his kidnapped sister and becomes embroiled in a political struggle revolving around the aforementioned Remnants. The game was announced for Playstation 3 but never released.

The Last Remnant Remastered releases digitally on the PS4 on December 6th and will run $20. No remaster has yet been announced for Xbox One or PC.
