Vampire the Masquerade 5th Edition

The World of Darkness’ latest edition of Vampire: The Masquerade earned Modiphius Entertainment a 2019 Origins Award. The Fifth Edition of Vampire was named the Best RPG of the Year, also winning the Fan Favorite Award, as announced at last night’s ceremony at the Origins Game Fair. The game had been up against the likes of Dusk City Outlaws, Forbidden Lands, Monte Cook Games’ Invisible Sun and Numenera Destiny/Discovery, the Mutants & Masterminds Basic Hero’s Handbook, and fellow Modiphius release Star Trek Adventures.

Modiphius wasn’t the only major publisher to take home an award; Wizards of the Coast’s Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes for Dungeons & Dragons 5E won Best RPG Supplement. Other nominees included Masks of Nyarlathotep for Call of Cthulhu, The Command Division for Star Trek Adventures, the Starfinder supplement Pact Worlds, and Kobold Press’ D&D 5E supplement Creature Codex.
