Bellator Planning Fight Series For Western Europe To Take Place in 2019

Bellator MMA is set to hold a series of events in the UK and other WSestern European countries in 2019. MMAjunkie reports that Bellator President Scott Coker revealed the plan after Bellator 200 to hold six to eight events on the content, which will feature Bellator veterans as well as developing new talent for the company.

“It’s really to look for the next fighter, and these guys need more fights,” Coker said. “So we’re going to provide more fights, and it will be like almost a Western Europe circuit. It’s something we can provide the local fan base a live experience with local talent, and not come here once or twice a year like we’ve been coming.”

“The great thing is, Viacom is committed,” he added. “And when you have a big media mogul like that committed, it only means there will be great things ahead.”
