Brock Lesnar is officially back in the US Anti-Doping Agency testing pool and will be eligible to fight in January. The USADA confirmed to MMAjunkie in a statement that Lesnar has re-entered the pool and, once the final six months of his suspension are served, will be able to face Daniel Cormier.

“After receiving notice of his intent to compete in the UFC, Brock Lesnar re-entered the testing pool on July 3,” USADA said. “With six months and four days remaining on his period of ineligibility, Lesnar will be able to compete on or after January 8, 2019, should he remain in compliance with the UFC Anti-Doping Policy.”

Lesnar was confirmed to be Cormier’s next opponent by Dana White after the UFC and WWE star appeared cageside at UFC 226 to watch Cormier’s fight with Stipe Miocic. White said after the event, “We’re definitely going to make that fight.”
