Cedric Marks Captured After Manhunt Over Pending Murder Charges

MMA fighter Cedric Marks is in custody after a manhunt in Texas over three pending murder charges against him. According to the Temple Daily Telegram, Marks escaped from a prisoner’s transport on Sunday after the vehicle was stopped at a McDonald’s for foor. He then led police on a hunt that lasted nine hours before being captured.

Marks, a fighter who made an appearance for Bellator at Bellator 20, is charged with murdering his ex-girlfriend Jenna Scott and her acquaintance Michael Swearingin. Both bodies were found on January 15th in Oklahoma. Details on the third murder charge are not yet known. He is also being investigated in the disappearance of another ex-girlfriend, April Pease, who was the mother of his child. She disappeared in 2009 in Minnesota and has never been found.
