Chris Camozzi Says He’s Planning to Be Back in May

Chris Camozzi spoke with MMAjunkie about his win over Joe Riggs and more. Check out the highllights:

On his back to back wins: “If you can get out of there that quick and flawless, that’s just great.”

The quickness of the victory, combined with a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus, is propelling Camozzi as he takes his next assignment, a training and teaching run in Qatar. Then, he gets to enjoy the fruits of his labor.

On teaching and training in Qatar: “I’m doing a seminar there for a week, and when I get back, my wife and I have a vacation planned for her birthday, so we’re going to Turks and Caicos. I’m going to train out in Qatar and maybe pick up some new stuff; they’ve got a lot of good Thai boxers at this gym I’m going to. I’ll do some teaching, and then I’ll take a week off in Turks and enjoy it. But right after that, I’ll be back in the gym. I’d like to be back in May.”
