– During today’s latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio talked about CM Punk, who recently made a surprise appearance, incognito and in a mask of course, at a recent indy wrestling event. Meltzer also shed some light on CM Punk’s current status with the UFC. According to Meltzer, Punk is still under contract with the UFC, and he’s not yet been cut from the roster. However, Meltzer noted that the UFC never plans on booking CM Punk again.

Punk made his MMA debut in the UFC. He lost to Mickey Gall in 2016 at UFC 203. In 2018 at UFC 225, Punk lost by decision to Mike Jackson.

In an exclusive interview with CM Punk last September, Punk noted that he’s still training in MMA and was uncertain about taking another fight. He stated, “I don’t know. I’m focused on this movie right now. You’ll have to ask me when we wrap, which is in a couple weeks.”
