Conor McGregor Arrested For Alleged ‘Dangerous Driving’ In Ireland

UFC star Conor McGregor has been arrested for alleged “dangerous driving” in Ireland, according to a new report. The Irish Independent reports that McGregor was arrested on Tuesday evening and his car was temporarily seized for alleged road traffic violations in Dublin.

According to the report, McGregor – who last fought in July of last year – was pulled over by Irish police force and arrested for “road traffic offenses.” His Bentley Continental GT was seized but has since been returned. He was taken to a police station and charged with dangerous driving, then released on bail. He is set for a court date in April.

If convicted, McGregor could be subject to a fine of up to €5,000, six months imprisonment, or both.

McGregor’s spokesperson told the outlet, “Mr. McGregor was driving to the gym when he was stopped by gardai (Irish police force) for alleged road traffic violations. He passed the drug and alcohol tests taken at the station.”
