Conor McGregor Claims He Wants a Real Fight in MMA Next, Slams WWE

December 16, 2017 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

TMZ recently caught up to UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor and tried to ask him about what his future plans are for his fight career. You can check out a video of the brief exchange below.

There have recently been reporters linking the UFC champion to fights with Manny Pacquiao, and a recent WWE survey was gauging interest from fans on Conor McGregor appearing in WWE matches.

McGregor commented on the issue to the TMZ photographer, “I think a true right is what I want to do next.” When the photographer asked what he means, McGregor later said, “MMA next.” When the photographer asked McGregor if he would do WWE, McGregor stated, “F*** WWE.”

McGregor currently doesn’t have an MMA fight scheduled with the UFC, despite holding the UFC Lightweight Championship. He last fought in August in a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather, where he was knocked out in the 10th round. It’s unclear if he will be returning to fight for the UFC anytime soon. He was recently involved in a controversial altercation with a referee and a Bellator official at Bellator 187, where McGregor jumped the cage and shoved a referee. He was later seen slapping a Bellator official when he tried to get McGregor to move off the top of the cage.
