Conor McGregor Fined And Banned For Driving For Six Months

RTE and The Irish Independent report that Conor McGregor has been banned from driving for six months and given a fine of €1000 [$1128.09] for speeding. McGregor pleaded guilty to going over the 100kph speed limit at Blackchurch on the N7, Kill, Co Kildare on Oct. 11, 2017. Judge Desmond Zaidan handed down the sentence. McGregor was charged with speeding, driving without a license, failing to produce a license at the the scene and at the police station. The charges related to the driving license were dropped after he pleaded guilty to speeding.

After he pleaded guilty, McGregor said that he has to drive safer. The judge noted that McGregor had 12 driving convictions in the past.
