Conor McGregor Surrenders to Police Over UFC Media Day Bus Attack

Conor McGregor has surrenders to police in connection with the bus attack he and his entourage were responsible for after a UFC 223 media day event. TMZ reports that McGregor surrendered to police, who wanted to speak with McGregor over the incident that saw multiple people including Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg get injured. Chiesa and Borg’s respective fights have been cancelled.

An NYPD spokesperson previously said that no warrant had yet been issued for the incident, but that police wanted to question McGregor. The spokesperson also said that based on his knowledge of what went down, McGregor’s actions would probably constitute a charge of misdemeanor assault which could mean three months to a year in jail.
