Conor McGregor Tells Irish Government to Close Down Ports to Prevent COVID-19 Spread
Conor McGregor is continuing his push to get Ireland to close all of its ports in order to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus. McGregor took to Twitter on Friday to link an article about vehicles from the UK arriving at Ireland’s ferry ports, calling on the government to lock the ports for all non-essential vehicles. You can see his posts below.
Ireland has had a total of 8,089 COVID-19 infections and 287 deaths. Friday saw 480 new infections and 25 new deaths per the Irish government.
The term “pissing against the wind” comes to mind here, men and women.
Without closure of our ports, air and sea (the birthplace of the spread into Ireland) what are we really doing? Lockdown? No. Afraid not. @CMOIreland @rte @LeoVaradkar @PresidentIRL https://t.co/FNyK59dpr8— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) April 10, 2020
Ask of our airports as well as sea, @gavreilly.
Not once has our airports (where the virus came from) been queried.
We must have answers. We must see action. It is not too late!
CLOSE OUR PORTS FOR ALL NON ESSENTIAL, IMMEDIATELY!!!— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) April 10, 2020
