August 29, 2019 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

Dana White spoke during a media scrum about Conor McGregor apologizing for his punching a bar patron, the allegations of sexual assault against McGregor and more. As you may recall, McGregor issued an apology for punching a man in April for refusing a round of his his Proper No. Twelve whiskey. He was also investigated in January by police in Ireland over an allegation of sexual assault from the month before. McGregor was taken into custody and question, but has not been charged.

Highlights of White’s comments are below:

On McGregor apologizing for punching the bar patron: “Conor and I talk at least a couple times a month and I think he needed to do that. I didn’t tell him to do it. He did that on his own and good for him.”

On McGregor having been investigated for sexual assault earlier this year: “I know zero about that. To be honest with you, the back and forth that I’ve had with him about that, it’s not him. It’s somebody else so I don’t know.”
