Dana White Reveals Plan for Jon Jones to Face Winner of Stipe Miocic vs. Francis Ngannou

Speaking to TMZ, UFC President Dana White revealed that the plan is for former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones to fight the winner of the upcoming heavyweight title rematch between champ Stipe Miocic and top contender Francis Ngannou. The Ngannou vs. Miocic rematch is currently slated for UFC 260 in March.

Ideally, White would like to book Jones against the winner of the heavyweight title bout to face off as early as the summer. However, it still remains to see how Ngannou vs. Miocic II will play out.

Jon Jones recently vacated the light heavyweight title and division with the plan to likely move up to heavyweight to face the champion.

UFC 260 is scheduled for Saturday, March 27. The event does not yet have a venue or host city scheduled.
