Dana White Runs Down Full UFC Fight Night Card for May 30

In a video released by ESPN, UFC President Dana White ran down the full planned fight card for the May 30 UFC Fight Night event. Currently, the event is set for May 30 in Las Vegas, and it will be headlined by a welterweight contest with former champion Tyron Woodley facing Gilbert Burns. You can see that video below.

Per the announcement, the May 30 event will be held at the UFC Apex, pending approval from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC). Additionally, the UFC released the following statements this week to clarify that the organization understands conducting the event is subject to approval of the NSAC. UFC requests that the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) place the organization’s application to conduct an event at the UFC Apex facility on May 30, 2020 on its next agenda. In light of published reports, UFC would like to clarify that it understands that its ability to conduct the event is subject to the approval of the NAC. UFC’s ability to conduct the event is also subject to compliance with all NAC rules and regulations and its own Operations, Health and Safety plan previously submitted to the NAC.
