Dana White Says Demetrious Johnson vs. T.J. Dillashaw Superfight at UFC 226 Isn’t Happening

Dana White spoke out to shoot down speculation of a Demetrious Johnson vs. T.J. Dillashaw superfight. White spoke with the Los Angeles Times by text and said that the match is “not happening. It was never made. Plus, D.J. is hurt and out for a while.”

The Johnson vs. Dillashaw fight was speculated for UFC 226, which already has Daniel Cormier vs. Stipe Miocic. Johnson had previously said that he’d like to face Dillashaw on the card if he comes back in time from his surgery. Per White, that’s not the case.

UFC 226 takes place on July 7th from Las Vegas, with the main card on PPV.
