Daniel Cormier Jokes That He May Cost Brock Lesnar the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania

– Daniel Cormier has his potential fight with Brock Lesnar on the mind, and he joked about showing up at WrestleMania to make sure it happens. Cormier appeared on ESPN on Saturday night following UFC on ESPN+ 6 for some post-show analysis. During the recap, Cormier threw out a reference to Lesnar and the big WWE PPV, which takes place on April 7th.
“I don’t have a fight exactly scheduled yet but I’ve got my eyes on Brock Lesnar,” Cormier said (per Fightful). “I may go to WWE’s WrestleMania, and I may go cost him his title over there so he can hurry up and get to the UFC so I can beat him here.”
While Cormier was joking during the segment, he is an avowed WWE fan who had a tryout for the WWE commentary team late last year.
