Daniel Cormier Says He’ll Slap Brock Lesnar if He Enters the Cage at UFC 230
Daniel Cormier isn’t down with the idea of Brock Lesnar entering the Octagon again after one of his fights. Cormier spoke with Busted Open Radio for a new interview and said that he has heard Lesnar will be there at UFC 230, where he fights Derrick Lewis with his heavyweight title on the line. Cormier had a warning for Lesnar in case his potential challenger decided he wanted to get froggy.
“I heard Brock Lesnar will be at The Garden for UFC 230,” Cormier said. “If he tries to step in that cage again, I’m going to slap him in his face. I owe him one from last time.”
You can listen to the audio below. Cormier is expected to fight Lesnar once he faces Lewis, but has also suggested that the next fight — his apparent last — could be a bout with Jon Jones.
