Demian Maia will step in to face Kamaru Usman at UFC Fight Night 129. UFC officials announced the fight on Thursday, posting to Twitter to reveal trhe news. Maia is stepping up afdter Santiago Ponzinibbio was forced out of the fight last weekend due to injury.
UFC Fight Night 129 takes place on May 19 in Santiago, Chile. The card airs on FOX Sports 1 after early preliminary fights on UFC Fight Pass.
