Dustin Poirier Auctioning Off UFC Fight Night 120 Gear To Benefit Slain Cop’s Family

MMA Junkie reports that Dustin Poirier (22-5 MMA, 14-4 UFC) is auctioning off his fight gear from UFC Fight Night 120 to benefit the family of a slain police officer. He also plans to auction his gear from future fights to benefit future causes. In May, he auctionedo ff his fight gear for UFC 211 and raised $5,100 for the Second Harvest Food Bank in his hometown of Lafayette, La., which meant 3,000 meals for needy families.

This time he is auctioning off his gear on eBay to raise money for the family of Lafayette Police Cpl. Michael Middlebrook, who was killed in the line of duty last month. The bidding has started at $3,000 and ends on Thursday. There has already been a bid made. It includes his Reebok shorts, warm-up pants, shirt, hat, hand wraps and gloves, which were all worn on the way to the cage or in the cage.
