Conor McGregor had a successful return to the Octagon last night at UFC 246. He knockout Donald Cerrone in the first round of their main event bout. After the fight, undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather took to Instagram and already started teasing a potential rematch between the two. You can check out his Instagram post below.

Floyd Mayweather defeated McGregor in the 10th round of their boxing match in August 2017. The match was McGregor’s boxing debut.

Interestingly enough, UFC President Dana White talked about Floyd Mayweather at the post-fight press conference for last night’s show. White stated during the presser, “Listen, we’re doing something with Floyd. We’re doing something with Floyd.” He added, “And, umm, you know … I don’t know. It’s like, tonight’s the night of the fight, you got the Khabib [Nurmagomedov] fight coming, and there’s just so much going on. Floyd is in our plans, and we are in Floyd’s plans this year, and we’ll end up doing something.”

What plans UFC and Dana White are working on with Mayweather are still a mystery. It could be something else boxing related, as Dana White has talked about promoting boxing fights recently.
