Dual UFC champion Henry Cejudo is out for what is likely the remainder of 2019 due to the need to undergo shoulder surgery. Cejudo confirmed to ESPN that he is undergoing left shoulder surgery after he tore his subscapularis muscle during his bout with Marlon Moraes.

Cejudo, the UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion, said that he will need four to five months to recover before he is cleared to fully train. As such, he will likely be out until 2020.
