February 9, 2019 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

TMZ Sports recently spoke to UFC fighter Israel Adesanya this week ahead of his upcoming UFC 234 co-main event bout against Anderson Silva. You can check out the video for the chat below.

During the interview, Adesanya was asked about hitting a WWE finishing move during a UFC fight, and he referenced WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels’ finishing move, Sweet Chin Music. Israel Adesanya stated: “Sweet Chin Music. Easy. I’ve done it before in the ring in kickboxing. Sweet Chin Music. That’s possible, and a few others as well. You might see one this weekend. It depends on the dance partner. In ‘rasslin’, they have an agreement. But this guy doesn’t want to play ball, so I have to force him to play ball.”

Adesanya is set to face former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva later today at UFC 234. The card will be held at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia. The card will be broadcast live on pay-per-view. Prelims will be shown on ESPN and UFC Fight Pass. You can check out 411’s roundtable picks for the fight card RIGHT HERE.
