Jake Hager’s Bellator 231 Bout Ruled No Contest Due to Illegal Knees to Groin
Jake Hager took to the cage for his latest MMA fight at Bellator 231 and didn’t lose, but didn’t pick up a win either. Hager faced Anthony Garrett on Friday night’s show, with the fight being ruled a no contest after Hager delivered an unintentional knee strike to Garrett’s groin. After five minutes, doctors at cageside ruled that Garrett couldn’t continue and the fight was declared a no contest.
Hager is now 2-0-1 in his MMA career. Samy Guevara, Ortiz and Santana, his stablemates from Inner Circle in AEW, were all at the event with Hager. You can see Hager’s entrance and the video of the illegal knee strike below.
