Speaking to TMZ Sports, YouTube celebrity Jake Paul says he’s got a fight in the works with former UFC champion Conor McGregor. Jake Paul was recently victorious, beating former NBA player Nate Robinson in the co-main event for the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. boxing card. McGregor was one of the names he called out after his victory.

According to Paul, his team has already spoken to McGregor’s manager. He stated, “My team is talking to his manager, but that’s all I’ll say. You know, and no other fighter with this big of a platform is calling out McGregor. So, you know, my dogs have more followers than the guy he’s fighting in January.”

He added: “The Jake Paul vs. Conor McGregor fight is going to happen. It’s just a matter of when. And it’s gonna be legendary. And I’m gonna win, too. That’s what I really want people to understand. And I told my friends this. I’m like, ‘Guys, This is gonna happen, but not only that, but I’m gonna dedicate my life to winning that fight.’ Because I’m not just going in there just to f***ing say I did it. I’m going in there to f***ing f*** Conor McGregor up.”

McGregor is currently scheduled to face Dustin Poirier in the main event at UFC 257. The fight will be held on January 23, 2021. You can see a clip of Jake Paul’s comments on McGregor below:
