Jalin Turner Discusses His UFC 234 Bout With Callan Potter

UFC fighter Jalin Turner recently spoke to reporters in a media scrum (via MMAjunkie) ahead of his fight with Callan Potter at today’s UFC 234 event. The fight card is set for later today. Below are some highlights from the scrum.

Jalin Turner on what he learned from his recent loss: “I just had to get used to the experience. Not much of a lesson, just don’t fight at 170 for the most part. I think I showed I can perform under pressure and big lights. That never phases me.”

His thoughts on Callan Potter: “He’s tough, he’s durable, he comes forward, and he’s a black belt. That’s the most I can take from him. He’s a taller (lightweight) than usual, about 6-foot-1. He fought at 170, but it’s going to be a good fight.”
