Jessica Eye Misses Weight for UFC on ESPN 10 Headliner, Bout Moving Forward

As previously reported, a number of fighters missed weight at yesterday’s UFC on ESPN 10 weigh-ins. As noted, Darrick Minner was pulled from the fight card before the weigh-in due to health issues. Additionally, co-main event fighter Karl Roberson came in very heavy for his bout with Marvin Vettori. Roberson came in at 190.5 pounds. The UFC released updates on how the fights will move forward, including with headliner Jessica Eye failing to make weight.

Roberson has been forced to forfeit 30 percent of his purse to Vettori. The Vettori vs. Roberson fight will move forward as scheduled.

Another fighter who missed weight was headliner Jessica Eye who weighed in at 126.25 pounds for her scheduled flyweight bout against Cynthia Calvillo. The fight is moving forward as scheduled, but Eye will forfeit 25 percent of her purse. Eye appeared to be struggling heavily at yesterday’s weigh-ins and even said she had trouble standing.

Finally, Zarrukh Adashev came in three pounds heavy for his bantamweight fight against Tyson Nam. He forfeits 20 percent of his purse to Nam. The bout will go forward as scheduled.
