Jon Jones’ Doping Hearing Rescheduled For Early 2018

November 21, 2017 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

The California State Athletic Commission has rescheduled a hearing on Jon Jones’ doping case to early 2018. CSAC executive officer Andy Foster told MMAjunkie that the hearing, which was set for December 12th, has been moved to a late February/early March time frame at the commission’s first meeting of the year.

The move comes as a result of a continuance granted to Jones. The hearing is over his being flagged for a potential doping violation on August 22nd for an out-of-competition sample collected before his UFC 214 fight with Daniel Cormier. Jones’ win was overturned to a no-contest and Cormier was reinstated as champion.
