Josh Barnett is set to go to arbitration in his anti-doping violation case with the US Anti-Doping Agency. MMAjunkie has confirmed with the organization that Barnett is set to go to arbitration over the case after Barnett initially refused to settle over the situation.

Barnett was potentially subject to a recommended eighteen-month suspension for a failed out-of-competition drug test that tested positive for the banned selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) ostarine. Barnett has denied taking any PED and said that it was traced back to a tainted supplement containing the legal herb tribulus terrestris, which reportedly boosts natural testosterone.
